“My respectful obeisances are unto You, O Lord, whose abdomen is marked with a depression like a lotus flower, who are always decorated with garlands of lotus flowers, whose glance is as cool as the lotus, and whose feet are engraved with lotuses.”

The transcendental, enchanting, sweetness personified, most attractive form of Sri Shyamsundar, the Lord residing in the lotus hearts of the gopis, is a host of lotus flowers, with every limb being as soft, fragrant and beautiful as a fully blossomed lotus flower. The soles of His transcendental feet are indescribably beautiful like fresh red lotus flowers, his bodily complexion has been likened by the great acharyas as the radiant sapphire lotuses blooming in the water reservoirs of Vraja, his deep lotus navel attracts the bees of the gopis minds, his lotus like hands are extremely expert at pulling the Vraja gopis into an embrace and the lotus garland that adorns the Lords chest is blessed to be sprinkled by the Kumkum that is smeared on the Gopis breasts and that comes on Shyam’s garland when he embraces them. His beautiful eyes, restlessly going hither and thither, eager to catch a glimpse of the moon like faces of the Gopis, are the saturated form of all the beauty existing in all the lotuses of the entire universe. Worshiped by all his devotees with the lotuses of their hearts, the Lotus Lord splendidly resides in the pure lakes of their minds.
