Sri Krishna, the primeval Personality of Godhead and the cause of all causes, is the object of the vaishnava’s love and devotion. He is the reservoir of all transcendental mellows and the life and soul of all the Vrajavasis. While offering obeisances to Sri Sri Krishna Balaram, one may offer the following prayer in the glorification of Sri Krishna:
govindāya namo namaḥ
I offer repeated obeisance’s unto Lord Krishna, who is the protector and well-wisher of the cows and the Brahmans. He is also the protector of the entire society. Unto that Lord, who is always satisfying the senses of the cows, I offer my obeisance’s again and again.”
namah pankaja-nabhaya namah pankaja-maline namah pankaja-netraya namas te pankajanghraye
My respectful obeisances are unto You, O Lord, whose abdomen is marked with a depression like a lotus flower, who are always decorated with garlands of lotus flowers, whose glance is as cool as the lotus and whose feet are engraved with lotuses.
