“O Shrimati Radharani, O Queen of Vrindavana, You are a river flowing with the nectar of mercy. Please be kind upon me, and give me a little service at Your lotus feet.”

Srimati Radhika is the personification of mercy and is the sole shelter of the Vaishnavas following in the line of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who is none other than Krishna with the lustre and mood of Srimati Radhika and who appeared on this earthly planet to taste the moods experienced by Srimati Radhika while loving Krishna. Being the greatest devotee of Sri Krishna, she is always eager to render service to his lotus feet and wants to engage everyone else in his service too. When she sees a sincere Sadhaka trying to make advancement in Krishna consciousness, being merciful and compassionate upon that devotee, she personally requests Krishna to except that jiva in his service. Without her causeless mercy, which person can possibly aspire to gain any spiritual understanding about the true nature of Krishna and his unlimited incomprehensible qualities and pastimes. Understanding her to be the dearest to Sri Krishna, who considers Srimati Radhika to be his all in all, the devotees aspire to take shelter of her lotus feet. Even though Sri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the ultimate shelter of all the living entities, yet Sri Krishna himself takes shelter of Srimati Radhika, for he is bound by her love, which is unfathomable and cannot be described even by the most qualified and eloquent poets in the choicest of poetry in millions of years. Therefore, from the perspective of Lila, Lila vichar, the transcendental loving pastimes of the Lord, Srimati Radhika is indeed the Supreme, for she is Madan Mohan Mohini, the attracted of Madan Mohan Sri Krishna. It is her, who, through her service, satisfies Sri Krishna to the fullest extent, and it is her at whose lotus feet Sri Krishna bends down to pacify her when she is displaying her maan or jealous anger.

Being Gaudiya Vaishnavas, we aspire to serve the very same Kanu man mohini, the attracter of the heart of Sri Krishna, under the direction of Rupa, Rati and other manjaris, who are always engaged in the loving service of the divine couple. May Vrindavanishwari Radha count us amongst one of her own associates and give us some service at her divine lotus feet.
