Svayam Bhagavan Sri Krsna is the only Hero of all the worlds

By Srila Prabhupada’s mercy, we have the good fortune of residing in Sri Vrindavan dhama and we have the opportunity to take the wonderful darsana of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, Sri Sri Krsna-Balarama and Sri Sri Radha-Syamasundara. If not physically, we can mentally be in Vrindavan, and through the internet, WhatsApp and so forth, we can hear about what is going on in Vrndavana today and be reminded of the eternal spiritual world.

Sri Krsna is eternally residing in Goloka-dhama, the spiritual world, beyond this material world. Srila Prabhupada has mentioned that if all the spiritual worlds and also the material world were put together, it would not equal Goloka-dhama. There, Krsna is performing His adbhuta-lila, or His wonderful pastimes, and is surrounded by His eternal associates who are unlimited in number.

In Goloka-Vraja, the cows, calves, deer and other animals, birds like the parrot, peacock, and swan, and even the trees, creepers, bushes and plants are fully spiritual, with loving feelings, emotions for Krsna. They offer their fruits, flowers, leaves and branches to Krsna, and Krsna is accepting these items and in return is smiling or glancing at them lovingly. Krsna is their hero. Among these servants, one of them is most fortunate, Krsna’s flute. Krsna actually has several flutes: small, medium and long. They are known as the venu, murali and vamsi. Certainly, these flutes possess the transcendental pride that their only hero, Sri Krsna, is celebrated as the greatest hero in all the worlds and that He is well known for always carrying a flute. It is never separated from Him. Even at night, when He is sleeping, He keeps one flute under His pillow.

The servants in Nanda Bhavan, Krsna’s father’s house, Raktaka and Patraka, Bhangura and Patri prepare tambula, pan leaves and betelnuts with some spices, for Krsna. They clean His cloth, trim His beautiful hair, clean His room and perform other menial services for their only Hero. And Krsna lovingly reciprocates with them, in a personal, affectionate way.

Krsna’s friends Sudama, Sridama, Subala, Arjuna, Madhumangala, just to name a few, are playing with Krsna, eating with Krsna, taking care of the cows and calves with Krsna, and sometimes defeating Krsna in mock fighting or verbal argument, but Krsna always remains their supreme hero.

His parents, Mother Yasoda and Nanda Baba, the elderly gopis and gopas have parental love for Krsna. Although He is the Supreme Lord, to them, He is the most wonderful, beautiful, sweet hero of their lives and He reciprocates with them just like a family member.

The gopis are those eternal associates of Krsna who are the most expert at giving Him pleasure and satisfying Him fully. They are capable of appreciating all the transcendental qualities of their supreme hero Krsna, who is known as Gopinath, the Lord of the Gopis. Krsna’s dear gopis are headed by Srimati Radharani. She is the most exalted among them and the ultimate heroine.

Although Krsna is perfect and complete to the highest degree in Vraja-Gokula, He is also eternally present in Mathura-puri and Dvaraka-puri and performs pastimes with His eternal associates there. He is the hero of all these associates also. In Vaikuntha, there are unlimited planets, and in each planet one of the Personalities of Godhead resides, like Narayana, Visnu, Madhusudana, and Vasudeva. Each is accompanied by His specific eternal consort, one of the unlimited Laksmi devis. In each Vaikuntha planet the Lord is served by countless eternal associates, who see Him as their Hero. Certainly, They are all also heroes, but all these forms of Godhead recognize that Krsna in Vraja, Goloka, is the supreme hero.  Furthermore when the material world is manifest, by the will of our hero Sri Krsna, His countless incarnations manifest in this world, also by His will. They come here to deliver the conditioned souls, attracting them by performing Their heroic deeds. All the demigods like Lord Brahma, Lord Siva, Suryadeva, Indradeva and all other demigods, all who are respected by cultured persons, recognize Svayam Bhagarvan Sri Krsna as the supreme hero. Great devotees, saintly and learned persons – any intelligent and sane person – understands that Sri Krsna is the greatest and only hero of all the worlds. That wonderful hero has mercifully appeared in our Krsna Balarama, as arca-avatara, or the arca-vigraha (deity form), as our beloved Syamasundara, eclipsing countless, totally insignificaant, so called heroes, who are actually zeros without Krsna, on this very insignificant planet earth. We pray to one day truly be engaged in transcendental service to our beloved hero Syamasundara, by the mercy of Krsna’s beloved and intimate servant Srila A. C.Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada.

Hare Krsna.
