In the midst of the trials and tribulations

the difficulties and the competitions

the only shelter that one really has

are the soothing lotus feet of Sri Govinda

 

In the deep well of material existence

surrounded by the crocodiles of desires

i find no shelter and no solace

besides the soothing lotus feet of Sri Govinda

 

Blinded by the darkness of ignorance

seeing no way out of the precarious situation

let me grab hold tightly and keep close to my heart
