As you may know, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is doing charitable work in India, registered with the Charities Act in Mumbai, India. This society, ISKCON, was founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1966 to establish a global institution to benefit the entire world with prosperity and peace.

For fulfilling this purpose, His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada established elaborate Deity worship of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram in Vrindavan, Their pastime place. Since 1975, gorgeous Deity worship is going on every day with six main aratis and bhoga offerings. Especially there is very grand worship during main festivals such as Janmastami, Radhastami, Ramanavami, etc. Deity worship is done as a humble reciprocation for all the gifts that the Lord has given us like air, water, light, etc.

Also we are maintaining about 400 cows at our Bhaktivedanta Swami Goshala. They are fed with nourishing meals two times a day with ample sweet water for drinking. The cows are able to live peacefully till the end of their life in this goshala. Cows are maintained because they give all of us the miracle food milk and is considered to be one of our mothers in Vedic scriptures. Also all the demigods live in the body of a cow.

Moreover, Srila Prabhupada has recommended us to distribute Prasad to all the visitors of the temple both poor and rich alike. Everyone needs the mercy of the Lord. We have a Kichadi Prasad Distribution Program since 1975. We distribute more than 1,000 cups of kichadi every day without fail! This is done to respect all fellow human beings.

These three activities are the prominent services in ISKCON Vrindavan. These three combined to form a service called YOUR DAY IN VRINDAVAN which is offered once a year that you can participate in.

A dedicated day of YOUR DAY IN VRINDAVAN service will help you to advance both materially and spiritually. You can do this service on your birthday, anniversaries, memorials or any other occasion. Pleasing Lord Sri Krishna, His cows and His devotees will certainly bring utmost satisfaction to your heart.

For your generosity and compassion, we shall send you a Memorandum Gift Pack with Mahaprasadam from Sri Vrindavan Dham and an 80-G Receipt for Tax Exemption.
